Photometry


The branch of Physics that deals with the quantitative measurement of light is called  photometry.


Terms used in Photometry:
 
Luminious Flux :  The luminious flux of a source of light is defined as the luminous energy ( visible part of energy) emitted per second from the source. It is denoted by ะค and is measured in lumen(lm).
